A CRASH between a bus and a car at a junction near the top of Penglais Hill partially blocked the road yesterday.

The collision, at the junction of the A487 and B4572 at the turning near the new Penglais Farm university halls of residence, occurred just before 3pm.

Police and paramedics were on the scene.

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: “Police attended a two-vehicle road traffic collision which occurred just before 3pm on 23 March on Clarach Road, Aberystwyth at junction of A487 and B4572.

“The vehicles involved were a white single-decker bus and a motor car.

“The road was partially blocked.”
