A child who was swept out to sea at a Gwynedd beach this afternoon has been airlifted to hospital.
The rescue took place at Black Rock Sands after a child was swept out to sea on an inflatable.
According to the Coastguard, members of the public pulled the casualty from the water.
The Coastguard said they received a call at 2.41pm today, Saturday.
A search and rescue team from Caernarfon was sent to the scene. The police and ambulance service also attended.
They have now been airlifted to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor, the Coastguard added.
