Emergency services closed off part of an Aberystwyth street this afternoon after reports of masory falling from a roof.
Police and fire crews were called to the corner between Bath Street and Terrace Road at 12.49pm this afternoon after an item fell from a roof on Bath Street onto a car below.
No one was in the vehicle at the time.
A spokesperson for the Mid and West Wales Fire Authority said: “At 12:49pm today, Monday 13 January, crews from Aberystwyth attended an incident in Bath Street, Aberystwyth, to make safe a dangerous structure.
“Firefighters cordoned off the area and took down a chimney pot and concrete pieces from the roof of a building.”
The road re-opened at 2.17pm
