FIREFIGHTERS rushed to Bow Street this morning to deal with a blaze which broke out in a static caravan.

Two fire crews battled to extinguish the flames but it was totally destroyed.

The caravan, which was unoccupied, was one of a number kept in a storage yard near the old railway station.
