CREW members of a fishing boat who had got into difficulty near Porthdinllaen were rescued by RNLI volunteers.

Just after 1pm on Monday, 25 July the RNLI Porthindllaen volunteer crew were requested to launch to assist a local fishing vessel, the ‘Steel Venture’, with four people on board, which had broken down around three miles to the north west of Porthdinllaen.

Upon arrival the volunteers discovered the fishing boat had rope tangled around the propeller. The boat was then towed back to Porthdinllaen.
