A five-year-old girl has been airlifted to hospital after a collision with a car on an estate in Barmouth.

The incident happened yesterday evening (Thursday) and police are appealing for witnesses.

North Wales Police said they were called by the ambulance service at 5.45pm to a report that a child had been involved in a collision with a car on the Pentre Bach estate.

The girl was airlifted to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool for treatment.
