AN APACHE helicopter had to make an emergency landing near Trawsfynydd last night.
The £35 million gunship helicopter is believed to have been on a training mission from RAF Valley on Anglesey when it ran into technical problems.
The crew managed to land the chopper in a field two miles south of Trawsfynydd, on a farm named Ffridd Bryn Coch.
No one was injured but it is expected that the helicopter would remain in situ overnight.
