It’s been a busy few days for North Wales Police.

On 11 November another male from Dolgellau had his car seized in Llanaber, also under section 165, for no insurance. He has also been reported for the driving offences.

Two days later, on 13 November, a 36-year-old male from Staffordshire, working in Barmouth, was arrested and charged for drink driving.

A police spokesperson said when stopped by officers in Talybont "the male was slurring his words and unsteady on his feet".

"The male was arrested for refusing to provide a sample for the roadside breath test but blew 75 on the intoxilyzer machine in Caernarfon.

"That is just over two times the drink drive limit.

"A day in court awaits this driver."
