A BLAENAU Ffestiniog husband and wife have appeared before magistrates accused of harassing their neighbours and damaging their garden plants.

Kevin Murphy, 56, and his wife Kaye Murphy, 59, of 50 Manod Road, appeared before Caernarfon magistrates on Friday and denied disorderly behaviour, criminal damage and harassment without violence towards Philip and Myfanwy Cutler.

The court heard that Kaye Murphy allegedly smashed plant pots in the Cutlers’ garden and that Kevin Murphy had threatened to cut their telephone line.

The case was referred to crown court for a trial later this month.
