A FAIRBOURNE man has admitted aggravated harassment of a young mum on the internet using an Xbox and by a mobile phone app.
Anthony Hancox, 28, of Fairbourne, was alleged to have caused serious alarm or distress to a woman over the internet by threatening to take cash from her bank account, threatening to rape her and her daughter, and sending graphic images.
Defence lawyer Sarah Yates at Caernarfon Crown Court said Hancox had attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and sought a pre-sentence report.
Judge Philip Harris-Jenkins granted him conditional bail but warned Hancox: "You pleaded guilty to a serious charge. All options will be open to the sentencing court.”
An earlier court hearing was told the internet communication had been through Xbox Live on the game Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and by the social media application “Kik”.
