A 40-year-old man who allegedly attacked his partner with a rolling pin in the kitchen of their home in Blaenau Ffestiniog should be tried at crown court, magistrates have decided.
Mark Anderson, a stonemason, pleaded not guilty at a Saturday court at Llandudno to causing actual bodily harm to Ceri Evans at their home in Dorvil Street.
After a plea by his solicitor, Andrew Scott, he was allowed bail, with a 7pm to 6am electronic curfew.
He must live at a friend’s house in Leeds Street, Blaenau Ffestiniog, and must not contact witnesses nor enter Dorvil Street.
Prosecuting, Nia Lloyd applied successfully for the case to be heard at the crown court.
Anderson will appear at Caernarfon Crown Court next month.
