Two cars have been involved in separate incidents near Dolgellau within a week.

A car came off a road, and was in collision with a house and parked vehicle on the A496 in Bontddu, near Dolgellau on Monday, 27 January.

And later a white Ford Fiesta overturned and slid down an embankment on the side of the road.

A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “We had a call-out at 11.59am on Monday, 27 January to the road at Bontddu.

“It was a one-vehicle RTC which had left the road and collided with a house. There were minor injuries.”

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at approximately 11.55am to reports of a road traffic incident on the A496 near Bontddu, Dolgellau on Monday, 27 January. We responded with one emergency ambulance. Nobody was taken to hospital.”

An accident on the A493 near Penmaenpool, Dolgellau on Thursday, 31 January, saw one vehicle leave the road and land on its roof in a ditch.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene in the early afternoon on Tuesday when a Land Rover Freelander left the road.

One person was checked over by paramedics and was said to be okay but visibly shaken.

A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “We had a call at 9.11am on 31 January reporting a vehicle had overturned on the A493 at Penmaenpool.

“Injuries were believed to be minor but you will need to check with the ambulance.”
