The owner of seven puppies stolen from a farm near Cardigan is appealing for help to find them.
Seven five-week-old border collie puppies were taken from Llwyn Llwyd Fach farm, Penparc, on Wednesday, 20 January, sometime between 5pm and 10pm.
Two of the pups are blue merl and five are black and white.
Owner Genna George said: “They are two female blue merls, four black and white males, and one black and white female with tan eyes.
“They were taken from the farm on the Wednesday evening. My son found they were missing and mum Catrin was still in her kennel.
“The kennel was hidden and far off the road. Police think it’s been planned, and that someone must have known where they were.”
A police spokesperson said: “Dyfed-Powys Police received a call at approximately 10pm on Wednesday, 20 January reporting the theft of puppies from a property in the Penparc area of Cardigan.
“The seven puppies were last seen between 5pm and 5.30pm. Extensive enquiries have been conducted, however the puppies have not been found.”
Anyone with information is asked to report it to Dyfed-Powys Police, either online at bit.ly/DPPContactOnline, by emailing [email protected], or by calling 101.
