NORTH Wales Police has trained its members to be able to deal with people with deteriorated mental conditions more confidently.

Last week, all of the Gwynedd South PCSOs became Dementia Friends to be able to provide further support in their communities.

The training was in place to improve the force’s community engagement and to develop dementia awareness throughout the region.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police congratulated all of the PCSOs on their attainment.
