POLICE have named a 19-year-old man who died after a car crash near Aberystwyth in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Joe Hulston, from Penparcau, who was last seen in the Spar shop in Aberystwyth at 3.15am, was driving a silver Ford Fiesta when it crashed at Llangynfelyn near Taliesin shortly afterwards.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and an appeal has been made for witnesses.
