A 27-year-old man whose partner was alleged to have sent Facebook messages mentioning that he was able to sell drugs has been spared jail.
Michael Stanley, of Adwy Ddu Estate, Penrhyndeudraeth, received an eight-month suspended jail term with 12 months drug rehabilitation and a “building skills for recovery” programme.
Judge Philip Harris-Jenkins told him at Caernarfon Crown Court: “I am giving you an opportunity, don’t waste it.”
Stanley admitted possessing cannabis with intent to supply.
Prosecutor Anna Pope said he accepted supplying three local people and not gaining financially.
Stanley, a heavy smoker of cannabis, had shouted and sworn when arrested.
Elen Owen, defending, said Stanley had a “very difficult childhood and adolescence.”
She said: “He’s a man with a lot of unresolved issues and anger.”
The court heard police searched his home in August and found five £10 cannabis deals.
