ONE person was airlifted to hospital following a serious crash at Eisteddfa Gurig on the A44 in the early hours of Sunday, 27 March.
The crash, which involved two vehicles, saw the A44 closed for around four-and-a-half hours with diversions put in place by the police.
A police spokesperson said three people were injured in the crash, which happened at around 1.45am, with one person suffering serious injuries and being airlifted.
The spokesperson said: “Two vehicles were involved with three casualties.
The road was closed for some time following the crash, and diversions were set up.
One casualty was airlifted to hospital.”
