Police are appealing for information after thousands of pounds worth of tools were stolen from Dolgellau.

A large quantity of tools, cash and an Ifor Williams trailer were taken from a builders’ merchants at Marian Mawr Industrial Estate in Dolgellau, between 10.30pm on Wednesday, 9 January and 12.30am on Thursday, 10 January.

The four offenders entered the unit through a back window and then made off in a black Hyundai Santa Fe with the Ifor Williams trailer in tow.

PC 3323 Jessie Zara Clarke said: “We believe the offenders travelled in the West Mercia direction, and are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the vehicle towing the trailer from the industrial estate.”

Three people were caught on CCTV.
