Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a man who is wanted on recall to prison and believed to be visiting the Fairbourne area.

Police have warned people not to approach David Costella if they see him, but to contact them.

North Wales Police issued the appeal this afternoon, saying: "David Costella is wanted on recall to prison.

"He is believed to be visiting Fairbourne and the surrounding areas.

"Any sightings, please do not approach him but call police quoting reference X172458"
