Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
The motorcyclist, who was airlifted to Stoke, remains in hospital with serious injuries following a road traffic collision near Bala yesterday afternoon (Sunday, 15 August).
At approximately 2.25pm a two-vehicle collision involving a black Honda motorcycle and a white Ford Ecosport, occurred on the A4212 at Fron Goch.
The motorcyclist, a male in his 40s, was airlifted to hospital in Stoke with potentially life-threatening injuries.
Sergeant Medwyn Williams of the Roads Policing Unit is appealing for witnesses.
He said: “We are urging anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have been travelling along the A4212 and who has dash cam footage, to contact us immediately.
“The road reopened shortly before 8pm to allow colleagues from the forensic collision investigation unit to carry out their initial investigation, and I would like to thank the local community and motoring public for their patience.”
