A motorcyclist has been stopped in Trefor for travelling at 122mph.

North Wales Police caught the biker on the A499 in Trefor yesterday evening.

A spokesperson for force’s Roads Policing Unit said the biker was doing 122mph in a 60mph zone and "will now have to explain his actions to a court".

"High speeds on our roads will not be tolerated and you will be prosecuted."
