A POLICE stop in Gwynedd revealed a large stash of cannabis this week.
Officers from North Wales Police say they stopped a vehicle in Barmouth on Monday evening, 1 June, and recovered a large quantity of cash and cannabis.
Officers said: “Whilst we are working hard to ensure understanding and compliance with COVID restrictions, we are still focused on safeguarding our communities from the dangers of organised crime.
“A male and female from the Harlech area were arrested for being in possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.
“The team went on to conduct a house search in the Harlech area, yielding further evidence in support of the offence the two were arrested for. Pictured is just one of the multiple items recovered.”
District Inspector Matt Geddes added: "The support from our communities at present is exceptional.
"We are working hard to protect you from the harm this sort of criminality creates.
