Police are investigating the sudden death of a 34-year-old man in Penparcau on Thursday morning.

Emergency services were called to a house in Heol Tynyfron at 4am on Thursday morning, following reports of a man in cardiac arrest.

A police spokesperson said: “Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating the sudden death of a 34-year-old man in Penparcau, Aberystwyth.

“Shortly after 4am on Thursday, 7 May, ambulance crews were called to an address at Heol Tynyfron, following a report of a man in cardiac arrest.

“Sadly, he died at the scene.

“Next of kin and HM Coroner have been informed. The death is being treated as suspicious, and is not linked to Covid-19.”
