Police are investigating a spate of vandalism in a south Ceredigion village.
Cardigan Police say they are investigating a spate of vandalism in Aberporth that is believed to have happened in the early hours of Monday morning.
Residents have reported damage to the Ship Sculpture – which commemorates the village’s celebrated maritime past – situated at the top of Dyffryn Beach.
In a separate incident a flower pot taken outside a property at Ffordd yr Odyn was found smashed outside the nearby Ship Inn in the morning.
In addition, two cars parked outside homes in Ffordd-y-Felin were daubed in brown sauce and at least one sustained damage to its bodywork.
