FAMILY, friends, neighbours and business acquaintances over a wide area have been left shocked and saddened by the tragic death of 50-year-old Cilgerran building contractor and father-of-three Nigel White.

The body of the popular local character was found at his home, Islwyn, in Llwyncelyn, Cilgerran on Tuesday afternoon of last week.

Police said there were no suspicious circumstances and the Pembrokeshire coroner has been informed.

“Everyone loved Nigel who was full of fun and would help anyone,” said a friend.

Mr White (pictured) leaves his partner, Charlotte, children Tash, Kerry and Alex, and sister Lynette.

The public funeral is being held tomorrow (Thursday) with a service at Parc Gwyn Crematorium Narberth at 4pm.
