AN Aberystwyth town centre road is closed this evening as police deal with an ‘incident’.

Mill Street has been closed by officers from Dyfed Powys Police and the Wales Air Ambulance has been seen on the pitch at Park Avenue.

No more details have yet been given on the incident.

In a post on social media, Dyfed Powys Police say: “Mill Street in Aberystwyth is currently closed due to an incident.

“If possible, please avoid the area or find an alternative route.”
