The family of a man who died following a collision on the outskirts of Bala earlier this month have paid tribute to him.
Chris Johnson was 58 years old and from the Rhyl area.
He has been described by his family as an amazing, funny, caring family man who will be deeply missed by all.
Publishing a tribute to him via North Wales Police, his family said: “Chris loved nothing more than to be out with his friends on his motorbike travelling the beautiful roads of North Wales, or spending time in the gym.
“He was always committed to supporting anyone including his family, friends and colleagues in their times of need.
“Chris was a husband, father, son, grandad, brother, uncle and cousin and the centre of our family. He could make you smile even at the most difficult times and saw the positives in so many things.
“Words cannot express the impact he had on so many. The family have requested privacy at this time to enable them to grieve the loss of Chris.”
Officers continue to investigate the collision which happened at around 7:35pm on 15 October on the A494 at Llanuwchllyn.
Police received a 999-call reporting that a two-vehicle collision had occurred on the A494 in Llanuwchllyn involving a black BMW 240i and a black Mitsubishi L200.
Earlier this month, police said: “The emergency services attended, however sadly the driver of the BMW was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The driver of the Mitsubishi sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital by ambulance.
Police are still appealing for anyone who may have seen the BMW being driven along the A494 to get in touch.
Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at the Serious Collision Investigation Unit via the online webchat or by contacting 101, quoting reference number 26000849235.
