A man and a woman have suffered “suspected life-changing injuries” following a collision in south Ceredigion, Dyfed-Powys Police has said.

Emergency services were called out on Saturday night after a car left the road and hit a tree on the A482 road to Aberaeron between Felinfach and Ciliau Aeron.

The three people in the car all suffered injuries, with a man and a woman suffering what police said were “life-changing” and another man suffering serious injuries.

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson told the Cambrian News: “We were called to a collision on the A482 between Lampeter and Ciliau Aeron at around 8.40pm on Saturday, 7 August.

“One car had crashed off the road and hit a tree.

“Three people were taken to hospital.

“Two of them – a man and a woman – with suspected life-changing injuries.

“A second man suffered serious injuries.”
