A WOMAN has been killed by a train near Llandre this morning.

Trains were suspended after the incident at 8.20am, but are now back up and running.The accident happened on the Borth side of the railway bridge near Dolybont when the first train of the day was heading to Aberystwyth from Machynlleth.A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "BTP are on scene alongside paramedics and Dyfed-Powys Police however a person has sadly been pronounced dead."Officers are now working to identify the person and inform her family."This incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
