A CHARITY barn dance has helped raised a significant four-figure sum for Wales Air Ambulance.

The Wales Air Ambulance Tywyn shop held a fundraising barn dance on Saturday, 12 August, at Pall Mall Farm, Tywyn.

The event raised a “magical” £1,609 for the helicopter charity and was part-organised by shop manager Abigail Severn-Benson.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Richard Vaughan for letting us use his barns and everyone else who helped, took part and donated prizes,” she said.
