Recently on a walk to Pwllheli Cemetery I struggled up steep, winding, narrow Allt Salem (the main access route to Coleg Merion Dwyfor). What a daily nightmare faces these sixth form students in their thirst for knowledge!

The precipitously steep hill not only lacks a pavement, but it is used for unauthorised free long stay parking!

Sadly those in authority seem to condone this extra danger facing our students, who have to step into the road centre to negotiate parked vehicles.

Hopefully Pwllheli Chamber of Trade & Tourism and town council will be able to press Gwynedd Council to strive to target some of these glaringly obvious risks and dangers. They have a ‘duty of care’.
