BABY Thea Evans of Machynlleth has a very special birthday - after being born yesterday (Tuesday) on the extra leap year day.

Thea was one of two babies born on 29 February at Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth.

Thea was born at 4.45am, weighing 8lb 12oz, to mum Sarah Evans. Pictured holding Thea are Tamsyn Davies and Laura Hastings, midwives at Gwenllian ward.
