Editor,

When will the council finally be ready to devise and publicise a coherent green spaces and climate strategy?

The number of biodiversity deserts blighting our town is indefensible at a time of climate emergency (the abandoned maze on North Road is just one example). Every square metre of green space must be properly managed to support the environment, and the council’s reticence in taking a position — let alone action — on this is unworthy of Aberystwyth’s dedicated and passionate population.
