Cymdeithas Aberaeron

THE last of the Cymdeithas Aberaeron Society talks in this winter series is intriguingly titled ‘Salt Horse and Pea Soup’. Carrie Cranham will talk about Welsh ships the sailors and the voyages they undertook at the end of the 19th century. This will be, no doubt, an enlightening insight into the lives of our forebears, the sort of people who founded our coastal ports and their communities. The very people who will have sailed and traded from Aberaeron, around the coast and far beyond.Come and listen to Carrie at the usual time of 7.30pm on Tuesday, 15 March, in Tabernacl Chapel vestry.
