Aeron Valley Railway Society
IN THE meeting on Wednesday, 15 June, notices were addressed by the chairman, followed by a presentation by David Williams on ‘Preservation of Steam Today’. The subject covered narrow gauge, mainly in Wales and standard gauge throughout the UK, finishing with narrow gauge rack and pinion steam preserved in Switzerland. As usual, the photographic standard was very high, and his verbal narrative was both informative and jovial. One new member attended, James Morris, who was welcomed to the society.
