ABERPORTH, the first village in Wales to achieve plastic-free status, now has its own flag to mark the achievement.

The flag is made out of cotton and not plastic like the banner unfurled in plastic-free town Chepstow.

Pictured prior to the hoisting of the flag are, from left: County councillor Gethin Davies, Gail Tudor of Plastic-Free Aberporth and community councillors Nicola Jennings and Jackie Brown.
