ABERYSTWYTH and Ceredigion County Show produced some fierce competition in a number of different sections.

Best Bantam or Call Duck: Beth Walker, Llety'r Ddwylan, Penbontrhydybeddau, Aberystwyth, White Call Duck. Best True Bantam: Jason Roberts, The Willows, Cross Inn, Llanon, Blue Pekin Female. Best Soft Feather Bantam: H B Jones, Glasfryn, Pengroeslon, Sarn, Black Australorp Bantam. Best Rare Breed: Allen Harding, 9A Llantrisant Road, Pontclun, Kraienkoppe Bantam Male.

Best Trio: Sue Stankiewicz, Blaenantwen Farm, Bedlinog, Treharries, Welsummer Bantam Trio. Best Eggs: Gwyneth Evans, Tanllan Barn, Llanrhystud, Aberystwyth, two eggs of each colour. Best Turkey: Diane Tanner, Fanolau Barn, Pontfaen, Brecon, Any Variety Turkey.
