ABERYSTWYTH town is one of the main settings of acclaimed author Catrin Dafydd’s latest novel.
Newly published novel Gwales is set in Wales in the near future when a revolution is about to begin, and the town of Aberystwyth plays a large role as some of the main characters form their political vision at the town’s university.
Familiar Aberystwyth locations such as The Old College and Penglais Campus feature in the novel and play a crucial part as the revolutionary campaign gains momentum.
In the novel, Brynach Yang wants to finish everything. And he’s going to do it. Tonight. But what will happen to Wales then?
Catrin Dafydd is an author, poet and political activist and an Aberystwyth University graduate.
