I read the story last week, about actor Callum Evans having trouble with his contact lenses.Well, he can expect eye infections if he wears them in the bath.
I have worn contact lenses for many years and would never wear when in the bath or shower.
Bath water is not sterile and probably contains dirt and germs
You should clean your lenses once a month, which will get rid of proteins that build up on the lenses.
If you don’t do this you are open to more infections.
This cleaning also prolongs the life of lenses. I wear mine half of the day for going out and shopping .
Taking them out also gives the eye chance to get oxygen to it which helps to keep the eye healthy.
I hope this is advice is helpful.
