A COURAGEOUS Penparcau boy who has spent the last three years battling leukaemia has celebrated getting the all-clear at a superhero party.
Five-year-old Tee-Jay Holloway finally got to ring the bell, a tradition at the hospital in Cardiff where he has been treated for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
To celebrate the fantastic news, the family threw an “amazing” party for Tee-Jay at The Hub in Penparcau where guests dressed as superheroes and they got to thank everyone for their support.
Tee-Jay’s delighted mum, Kelly Gornall, said: “He’s amazing and he has always been so strong. Tee-Jay has never complained, he just gets on with it.
“We’d like to say thank you to everybody who has offered support and help.”
While heroic Tee-Jay will still have to undergo tests and take medication, he is now looking forward to a special wish coming true.
Kelly said: “At the end of the treatment he had a wish and his was to go to Disneyland and he’s so excited.”
