Madam,

I walked down to Llanbedr bridge for a haircut at Sheila’s, past traffic gridlocked by a large wagon.

I waited for my turn in the hairdresser’s, 30 minutes, had my hair cut, and the traffic was still jammed.

In the middle was an ambulance. This might have been the difference between life and death for the occupant.

Can we plead again to the highways authority to install lights at the bridge until the bypass is completed?

Vehicles would pass through in one direction, and then in the other. No gridlock, and pedestrians could pass in safety where walking and cycling are really dangerous.

Yours etc,

Fred Robson, Coed Artro, Llanbedr.
