A LLANIDLOES meat processing company has won praise from AMs for their investment and retention of more than 160 jobs in the local economy.

AM for Montgomeryshire and shadow minister for agriculture and rural affairs, Russell George, accompanied by the leader of the Welsh Conservatives, Andrew R T Davies AM, visited Randall Parker Foods Ltd, which processes lamb and beef for worldwide export.

They were given a tour of the plant to see the new fridges which allow for greater capacity in exports.
