Madam,

I appreciate that Cllr Benjamin represents Rheidol ward (Campaigning for my electorate is not voicing doom and gloom). Can the councillor tell us how many people in her ward are going to be affected by the increase in traffic going to M&S?

Regarding the old day centre in Park Avenue, it’s gone and I would like to know if Ceredigion County Council has to provide a day centre?

If there are going to be traffic problems as a result of the development in Park Avenue, it will be up to the highways department to sort it out.

Boulevard St Brieuc is a major road into the town. As such traffic has increased and visitors don’t want to see clapped-out buildings in need of development. It gives the wrong image.

I and many others want to see our great town develop into a modern 21st century town attracting inward investment, creating jobs and creating more business rate income for the county.

May I say that I’m only expressing my views and the views of others who wish to see more blue chip companies setting up in the town.

Yours etc,

Ray Blackburne, Penparcau, Aberystwyth.
