A BLAENPLWYF woman has said she is ‘truly delighted’ after picking up her British Empire Medal for services to the community of Ceredigion.

Audrey Evans was presented with the BEM by the Lord Lieutenant of Dyfed, Sara Edwards at a ceremony at Neuadd Cyngor Ceredigion, Aberaeron.

Mrs Evans has given 26 years’ service to the Aberystwyth and District Stroke Club.
