The Commanding Officer of Aberystwyth Sea Cadets and two of the group’s cadets have been honoured.

Commanding Officer Lieutenant (SCC) Kelvin Jones RNR was presented with a Queen Elizabeth Second Officer Commission Scroll by District Officer Lieutenant Commander Sue Gittins at a ceremony.

There were also honours for two cadets, JC1st Class Fae Hewitt-Thomas and Able Cadet Goncalo Dias, with Fae being awarded the Junior Cadet of the Year certificate and Goncalo receiving the Cadet of the Year certificate.
