A NEWLY-formed biker group in Bala has raised over £600 for the Wales Air Ambulance.

Bala Bikers was formed in March this year and now hold regular monthly meetings at the the Olde Bull’s Head in Bala.

The club was started by Chris Ellis and he is still the driving force.

Since they started, the club have held several events to raise money for Wales Air Ambulance.

One of these events was a Bingo Night at the Bala Pavilion, and the club is thankful to Eleri Edwards for arranging the evening which was a huge success, and also thankful to all the people who who donated funds to this worthy cause.

More fund raising events have been arranged by the club which will continue to raise money to Wales Air Ambulance.

Several Bala Bikers travelled to Welshpool Airport last Sunday to present a cheque for the sum of £634.97 to Helen Thomas, Wales Air Ambulance Community Fund Co-ordinator.
