STAFF at TSB in Aberystwyth have raised more money for a local charity after smashing their £1,000 fundraising goal.
The branch made Hospice at Home Aberystwyth Volunteering its charity of the year and began raising money in October, with the target goal of raising £1,000 by October this year.
The team had already beaten their target before a bake off day was held and manager Emlyn Mainwaring and mortgage advisor Andrew Palk taking on the Cardiff Half Marathon.
The bake-off day in September raised another £146, with Ela Williams judged by HAVAV as the winner.
On 1 October, Emlyn and Andrew raised another £500 by completing the Cardiff Half Marathon in two hours and 26 minutes.
The branch has now raised over £1,600 for the charity.
