A WOODEN beach hut is up for grabs for £140,000.
Measuring only 9ft x 8ft, the wooden hut with a corrugated roof in Abersoch goes under the hammer next month at Liverpool auctioneers, Sutton Kersh.
According to the auctioneers it is an ideal opportunity to buy “an iconic freehold beach hut on the Abersoch main beach .”
Beach Hut 2 is on Porth Mawr, the main beach in the village resort.
Beach huts are said to be like gold dust at Abersoch with average prices more than £125,000.
Gwynedd Council planning policies ban any main services including water, drainage or electricity from being connected to the hut.
Rules state that hut cannot be slept in overnight and is purely for leisure purposes only.
The No2 hut is the second along to the left of the main launching slipway on the beach from the direction of the golf club car park.
Hut No2 is being sold at public auction by Sutton Kersh Auctioneers at the Crowne Plaza, 2 St Nicholas Place, Liverpool on Thursday, 17 May at 12pm.
