Ceredigion beauty spot Mwnt has been cordoned off by police as the country fights to stave off the coronavirus pandemic.

Tweeting photos this morning, police officers in Cardigan showed the main road towards Mwnt cordoned off with police tape.

In the post, CeredigionNPT said: "*Mwnt Closed* In line with government instructions Mwnt is now closed until further notice. Sorry for any inconvenience."

This follows news on Wednesday that all public spaces run by Natural Resources Wales are to be closed to the public as the country enters day three of lockdown, with non-key workers only allowed to leave their homes for essentials and one form of exercise a day.
