A group of bikers have raised nearly £5,000 to help a Llyn teenager gain his independence.

Beicwyr Llyn Bikers Motorcycle Club held their 10th annual fundraising ride earlier this year, which saw around 115 bikers set off from Pwllheli and complete a circuit of north Wales.

The bikers raised £4,890 on the day, which has been donated to Llyn teenager Lewis Walker.

Lewis has cerebral palsy and the money will go towards a new tricycle which will allow him to get out and about, giving him more independence.

Members of Beicwyr Llyn Bikers Motorcycle Club met up with Lewis to present him with a cheque for £4,890.96.

The presentation took place at Caffi Meinir, Nant Gwrtheyrn, Llithfaen during the club’s latest monthly meet.

The club wish to thank everybody who took part in this year’s event, the riders, volunteers, the public for their donations and of course the fantastic sponsorship of Gwion Prys Motorcycles, Pant Glas.

This year’s great total now takes the Beicwyr Llyn Bikers Motorcycle Club’s fundraising over the last 10 years to an amazing £51,578.15 for various good causes chosen by the club.
